More Details on WWE Hiring New Broadcaster

bobby roodeAs we reported yesterday, WWE has hired Canadian TV personality Arda Ocal as a broadcaster. Ocal will be working as Kyle Edwards in WWE, and according to FightNetwork.com, Edwards signed with WWE a few weeks ago and has been working in WWE’s production studios in Stamford, CT. He shot his first show on Wednesday, however show details have yet to be revealed.

WWE Tag Team Working WWC Event

According to The Wrestling Observer, Los Matadores will be working the WWC 41st anniversary event in Puerto Rico on October 25th.

The WWE tag team will be wrestling the current WWC Tag Team Champions, Ash and William De La Vega. Los Matadores reportedly have a clause in their WWE contracts which allow them to work certain WWC dates.

Aries Gets Title Shot & More on Impact Next Week

Following last night’s edition of Impact Wrestling, below is a preview for next week’s show:

-After winning the Gold Rush tournament, Austin Aries will get to pick his title shot next week.

-Gail Kim vs Havok for the TNA Knockouts Title will take place.

-The Wolves get to name the stipulation for their final match against The Hardys and Team 3D.

-Bobby Roode speaks out regarding his future in TNA.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
