10/10 WWE Smackdown Viewership: How Did the 15 Year Anniversary Special Do?

wwe smackdown viewershipAccording to Zap2It.com, this past Friday’s episode of WWE Smackdown, which was a 15th anniversary show featuring a Team Teddy vs. Team Laurinaitis main event, took in 2.671 million viewers.

This is down from last week’s 2.749 million WWE Smackdown viewership average. Last week’s show was the #1 non-MLB broadcast on cable for Friday night.

Paglino: The show was ok from a nostalgia point of view, but I never like “prize” matches (outside of title matches of course) because they never amount to anything for the fans.
