WWE Main Event Results (10/14) – Sheamus On Miz TV, Cesaro vs Gabriel, Rusev vs Big E

Cesaro vs Justin Gabriel

Cesaro whips Gabriel in the corner and elbows him, then Gabriel connects with a hurricanrana and a side headlock. He transitions into a crucifix pin before Cesaro throws him into the turnbuckles, and he punches him a few times before taunting the crowd and stepping on Gabriel’s head. Gabriel comes back with a quick slam and some corner punches, then he hits Cesaro with a forearm and whips him. Gabriel goes to springboard but Cesaro sidesteps him, then he kicks him and hits a Neutralizer for the win.

Winner – Cesaro

Rusev (w/ Lana) vs Big E

Big E goes for a shoulder tackle but Rusev doesn’t budge, then he repeatedly headbutts E and hits the ropes. E catches him and connects with a backbreaker for two, then Rusev rolls outside before he gets in and E whips him into the corner. E connects with some running shoulder tackles, then Rusev rolls outside again and E chases him down. Rusev tries to throw him into the ringpost but E blocks it, then Rusev slams him into the barricade and hits a fallaway slam on the floor. We get back from a break to see Rusev applying a front facelock, but E tries to break it so Rusev headbutts him.

Rusev stomps E a few times and sets up a suplex, but E blocks and counters with his own suplex before Rusev gets him back in a front facelock. E gets some separation with a belly-to-belly slam, then he connects with some clotheslines before hitting another belly-to-belly slam. E whips Rusev and tackles him in the corner, then he goes for another whip but Rusev kicks him in the stomach and charges the corner. E counters with a side slam for two, then he goes for the Big Ending but Rusev kicks him in the face and makes him tap to the Accolade.

Winner – Rusev

BP: Pretty much the way I thought it would go, but these guys work well together and put on a pretty good match. Like the announcers said, they worked together early in Rusev’s career, and those were just as good too. Both guys are big and athletic, and Rusev continues to build the feud with Big Show.
