Daniel Bryan Injury: Is WWE Working Us Trying To Set Up Surprise? Comparisons To CM Punk In Leaving Main Event

The Daniel Bryan injury in WWE has been a top story the past 6 months. The latest report is he might not make it back in time for Royal Rumble.

The social media topic this week on Chair Shot Reality is on Bryan’s career if he can’t make it back for Royal Rumble or possibly WrestleMania.

If Daniel Bryan doesn’t come back at Royal Rumble, Justin, he’s going to be very similar to CM Punk at Royal Rumble last year. He might not leave the company but he can say goodbye to his main event status and not headline a WrestleMania again,” said Josh Isenberg.

Justin LaBar disagreed with the Punk comparisons and questions how bad everything could be. Saying it has been done before where we think guys are not expected back and the Royal Rumble makes a great stage to return.

LaBar said: “Who’s to say they are not just working us? We don’t think Daniel Bryan is ready and just as that number 3 spot comes, just like it should have been in Pittsburgh last year, the music hits.”

They continued to debate Bryan’s future and looked at other top guys who have been injured and whether it worked out okay for them or not. Samantha Daley then joins the conversation with what people are saying on social media and her thoughts.
