Mick Foley Reacts to His WWE TV Return

Mick Foley recently did an interview with SportsTownChicago.com and he had the following to say regarding his return to WWE TV:

“It was very flattering to try and enhance that match in people’s minds. Jut a year before, I was sitting at home like, “I wonder why they’re not calling me?” Then they called me to be on their panel for Survivor Series, which I really had no illustrious history doing. This year I’m just glad The Big Guy was like, “What about Mick Foley?” I hadn’t been on the show for 7 months or so. I think it showed me and the fans that I can still be valuable on that show in limited doses. I’ll look forward to the next call 7 or 8 months from now and contribute in other ways. They got the Network and a bunch of other projects. There’s always a little role for Mrs. Foley’s little boy.”

Top NXT Stars Debuting Tonight?

According to PWInsider.com, former WWE NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension are backstage at Raw in Buffalo.

No word yet if they’re being used on the show tonight, but they are backstage at the arena, and merchandise is in the works for the tag team, which would seem to indicate their debut is imminent.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
