NXT Stars at Tonight’s Taping
The Ascension defeated two unknown local wrestlers prior to tonight’s WWE Main Event taping. Following the WWE Network exclusive show, NXT Champion Adrian Neville defeated Fandango in a decent match, with the Red Arrow.
A lot of the NXT stars and WWE enhancement talent that don’t normally show up for these shows are with the crew right now, as WWE will begin its annual European tour this week. Interestingly, both Sami Zayn – who worked tonight’s Main Event against Tyson Kidd – and Adrian Neville are being advertised for the live NXT show on Thursday in Lakeland, FL, so it’s unknown at this point if the two stand-outs will accompany the rest of the roster on the tour.
