Major WWE Network Update in The UK: Will the Service Be Offered as a Channel?

According to ProWrestling.net, a reader contacted Sky Sports in The UK and was told by a representative that the WWE Network will be launched as a Sky Sports channel.

“Yes, we will launch it as a channel with Sky TV,” the customer service rep wrote in a one-on-one chat. “Currently we don’t have any details but it will be going to be soon… And you will will be notified by adv, email or call.”

The report notes the possibility of the customer service rep being misinformed cannot be ruled out, however the rep and the information seemed competent.

WWE has yet to confirm or deny the report, but as of now it seems the UK WWE Network will be modeled similarly to how it’s being done in Canada, with the service being offered as a channel as opposed to the over-the-top model being used in The United States.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
