John Cena Talks What’s at Stake at Survivor Series, Why The Authority Needs to Be Removed from Power, Who Should Control WWE?

John Cena is the guest for this week’s sit down interview with Michael Cole, and the following are some interview highlights. You can watch the entire interview in the video below:

-Cole begins by asking Cena if he’s thought about what might happen to The Authority if they lose on Sunday, and Cena says although a Championship is not being defended at Survivor Series, if you look at what The Authority did to Daniel Bryan, and when they hired the mercenary Brock Lesnar to keep the title away from Cena, then yes, Survivor Series is about Championships. Cena added The Authority tries its best to make sure they decide who is and who is not the WWE Champion.

-Cole then brought up Jericho saying he thinks The Authority should remain in power because we know what we will get with The Authority. But Cena says what we get from them is not what the WWE Universe wants. Cena says The WWE Universe should be in control of the company. Cena noted he has no business being in charge of WWE, and that WWE has the means, via the WWE App, social media, the Network and more, to put control of WWE in the hands of The WWE Universe.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
