Update on Why WWE Is Not Touting the WrestleMania 31 Ticket Sale Figure

wrestlemania 31 ticketAccording to The Wrestling Observer, for the first time in years, WWE did not issue a press release touting WrestleMania ticket sales this year.

As we previously reported, WrestleMania 31 ticket sales were strong, but the first allotment of tickets did not sell out. It should be noted, however, that WWE hasn’t had first-day sellouts for WrestleMania in years.

The dollar figure for WrestleMania 31 ticket sales were very high because next year’s event has the highest prices yet. All tickets from $35 to $150 are sold out but tickets from $200 to $1,000 are still available. On the secondary market, $35 tickets are currently going for $83.75 and the $2,000 ringside seats are going for $4,405.
