Update on Why WWE Is Not Touting the WrestleMania 31 Ticket Sale Figure

wrestlemania 31 ticket According to The Wrestling Observer, for the first time in years, WWE did not issue a press release touting WrestleMania ticket sales this year.

As we previously reported, WrestleMania 31 ticket sales were strong, but the first allotment of tickets did not sell out. It should be noted, however, that WWE hasn’t had first-day sellouts for WrestleMania in years.

The dollar figure for WrestleMania 31 ticket sales were very high because next year’s event has the highest prices yet. All tickets from $35 to $150 are sold out but tickets from $200 to $1,000 are still available. On the secondary market, $35 tickets are currently going for $83.75 and the $2,000 ringside seats are going for $4,405.

The following matches have been taped for tonight’s WWE NXT broadcast on the Network:

-Becky Lynch vs. Bayley

-The Vaudevillians vs. the mini-Lucha Dragons

-Baron Corbin vs. Elias Samson

-Bull Dempsey vs. Steve Cutler

-Tyson Kidd vs. CJ Parker

-Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
