Ring of Honor & New Japan Pro Wrestling Returning to Ontario/New York in 2015; Additional Shows in Chicago & More

roh tv tapingEarlier this year, Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling teamed up to put on two joint-produced shows in Toronto, Ontario and New York. Both shows were sold-out and received positive reviews from critics, across the board, leading to several ROH talents being flown into Japan to work multiple events. 

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Joe Koff and New Japan president Naoki Sugabayashi had a meeting this past week to discuss future collaborative projects. He also confirmed that they will be returning to both Toronto and New York in 2015, and adding two additional U.S. shows to the calendar including one in Chicago, that will showcase talent from both companies. 

Ring of Honor stars will also be used on the upcoming Tokyo Dome show in January 2015, that will air in the U.S. for the first time, and feature WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross doing live English commentary.
