WWE Raw Viewership Skyrockets w/ Survivor Series Fallout, Anticipation of Sting’s Debut, The Authority’s Farewell Address & More

wwe raw viewershipThis week’s episode of WWE Raw scored big in the fallout from one of the most news-worthy PPV events in company history. The show averaged 4,292,000 viewers, which works out to a 13.8% increase over last week’s go-home show, and the highest average since mid-August.

The hourly break-down is the real story, however. Raw kicked off with a stunning 4,734,000 people tuning in to see The Authory’s farewell address to the WWE, and Daniel Bryan‘s return to the show (a 21.6% jump from the first hour of last week’s Raw). To put that number in perspective, it was the highest segment of any episode of WWE Raw since the night after WrestleMania 30.

It appears that a huge portion of the fanbase was tuning in to see the debut of Sting on Monday Night Raw, however, as the numbers dropped to a more normal 3,992,000 during the second hour (down 15.7%). The show finished strong with 4,012,000 viewers.
