NXT Takeover Announcements
Two major announcements have been made for next week’s two hour live special, NXT Takeover: R Evolution.
A video package for Kevin Owens aired during tonight’s NXT broadcast. Kevin spoke about touring the world with his best friend Sami Zayn for 10 years, but WWE calling Zayn first. He worked with Seth Rollins, was in a tag team with Daniel Bryan, and fought Adrian Neville, but WWE called all of them first. It was officially announced that he will debut at NXT Takeover.
An announcement on the future of Corey Graves will also be made at the special next Thursday night. Graves was a big part of NXT and one of the hottest up-and-coming names in the pre-WWE Network era of the show, but suffered a series of concussions that have put him on the shelf for all of 2014.
Steve Austin Returns to TV
The fourth season of Redneck Island featuring WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin premieres tonight on CMT at 10 p.m ET.
