GFW Posts Mini-Documentary on Wrestle Kingdom – Jim Ross Compares Tokyo Dome Show to Super Bowl & WrestleMania; Could It Be His Final Appearance?

Global Force Wrestling has posted this incredible preview, featured below, for the upcoming New Japan Pro Wrestling Tokyo Dome show, Wrestle Kingdom 9.

The mini-documentary is hosted by WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross, who talks at length about why he signed up to provide English commentary for the company’s inaugural U.S. pay-per-view. On multiple occasions he likens the Tokyo Dome to Madison Square Garden, and Wrestle Kingdom to WWE’s annual WrestleMania pay-per-view, and mentions all the legendary names that have competed in Japan’s most famous arena.

“It’s arguably going to be the best pure wrestling show of the entire year. It isn’t your run of the mill monthly pay-per-view, where they are hit and miss. This show has to hit … The pressure is on. It’s like all these athletes have converged on the Tokyo Dome to play the seventh game of the NBA Finals, or the seventh game of the World Series, or the Super Bowl show.”

The video also features comments from Jeff Jarrett, AJ Styles and other members of the Bullet Club, Ring of Honor stars and more. Jarrett in particularly is hyping this show as what could be Jim Ross’ final pro wrestling appearance, making it a must-see event.
