CM Punk Gets Another Comic Book Gig

cm punk Following his first comic book writing gig with a story in Thor Annual #1, former WWE star CM Punk has landed a second comic book writing gig for DC Comics as he will write a story for “Strange Sports Stories” due out in March.

“Strange Sports Stories” is a revival of an old series printed back in the 1960’s and 70’s.

Adam Cole Injury Update

ROHWrestling.com has posted the following update:

Ring of Honor was recently informed that former World Champion Adam Cole has suffered a shoulder injury.

We do not have official word on the severity of the injury or if this will keep him out of action for any length of time.

Maria Kanellis informed us that we can expect to see The Kingdom together on our next live event, Saturday January 3, 2014 in Nashville, TN.

“Adam, Michael, Matt and myself will grace Nashville with our presence” she said. “Adam will address his injury to the fans there live and not a second sooner”

WWE Releasing Ultimate Warrior & Daniel Bryan Books

WWE will be releasing a book celebrating the life of the Ultimate Warrior next year.

The book, titled, “Ultimate Warrior: A Life Lived Forever: The Legend of a WWE Hero”, is scheduled for a 9/15/15 release.

In related news, WWE’s Daniel Bryan book will be released on 7/28/15 in both hardcover and audio book form.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
