pro wrestling syndicateThanks to Pro Wrestling Syndicate for sending in the following:

Pro Wrestling Syndicate has announced they have signed a television deal with CBS affiliate WLNY.

WLNY reaches all of the metro New York area including all five boroughs of New York City, Long Island, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Orange, Fairfield County CT, and the entire state of New Jersey except for Ocean County.

Starting on Saturday January 3rd from 4:30-5:30am , PWS Wrestling will hit the airwaves with a 60 minute weekly wrestling program.

While the time slot may not ideal, in a DVR world it should have little impact on stopping fans from checking out PWS’ highly buzzed about product. If PWS receives high viewership throughout the first quarter of 2015, it is possible that PWS Wrestling TV will move up closer to the 12 midnight time slot.

PWS has rejected offers from other stations with more desirable time slots in favor of WLNY as WLNY has a broader reach and is a low numbered channel carried on all cable systems in the area.  WLNY is typically found on either channel 10 or channel 55 in the metro NY area.

WLNY features syndication of popular shows such as Big Bang Theory, Law & Order SVU, and The Middle amongst others in addition to new episodes of shows such as Cops, Judge Mathis, and Dog The Bounty Hunter.   PWS Wrestling will be on following Dog The Bounty Hunter.

Pro Wrestling Syndicate is coming off its Fightmare Before X Mas 2014 event this past Saturday night which set a record attendance of in The Rahway Rec Center in Rahway NJ.

Full results will be posted later this evening, however one thing to note is the injury of Tully Blanchard.

During a mixed tag team match between Craig Steele & Vanity battling Chris Payne & Tully’s daughter Tessa Blanchard, Eddie Kingston stormed the ring and put his hands on Tessa.  This lead to Tully blitzing to the ring and injuring his bicep while getting into the ring.  This however did not stop Tully from hitting multiple dropkicks in the ring on Kingston & Steele.   Tully’s injury is being described as partially torn tendon in his left bicep.  Tully has commented “It hurts to exert the muscle, but I’ll live”.
