Backstage Update on Why AJ Lee is Not Currently on WWE TV, Original Divas Title Plans and More

aj leeAccording to The Wrestling Observer, the reason why WWE Diva AJ Lee is not on TV is because she is currently dealing with some kind of injury.

Lee had reportedly been working hurt so she could wrap up her Divas Title feud with Nikki Bella, and she is now off TV until sometime in 2015.

Original plans in WWE called for a significant injury angle to take place on WWE TV to write AJ off TV, but that ended up not taking place.

AJ Lee’s absence is the reason why Naomi and Natalya have been moved into title contendership.
