Even More Details on the Backstage Raw Meeting Disputed by Cody Rhodes, More on The Authority’s Scripted Promos

As we noted earlier today, WWE star Cody Rhodes took to Twitter and disputed a Triple H-lead talent meeting took place before Raw this week.

Yesterday, we reported Reddit user MetsFan4Ever broke the story of a talent meeting taking place before Raw this week, during which Triple H challenged talents to step up in the coming weeks as the Royal Rumble winner has yet to be decided on.

Rhodes claimed on Twitter the meeting never took place, but Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com had the following to say regarding Rhodes’ claim:

“Funny, I just wrote about a talent meeting a few weeks ago that several different wrestlers confirmed to me. Maybe Cody isn’t talent? And the guy noting HHH stumbling over his lines on Monday and suggesting why is amazingly on the ball.”

With regards to Triple H “stumbling over his lines,” as we reported yesterday, the feeling backstage in WWE is that The Authority’s promos on Raw this week were written directly by Vince McMahon, and little of the verbiage in the promos were created by Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
