Daniel Bryan Returning to the Ring on Smackdown Next Week

daniel bryanIt was announced at last Tuesday’s Smackdown tapings that Daniel Bryan will be returning to action on next week’s edition of the show, which is when Smackdown moves to its new time slot.

As we reported earlier, Bryan has been added to several upcoming live events before and after the Royal Rumble, and he is being advertised for in-ring competition.

WWE SuperCard Hits 5 Million Downloads 

WWE and 2K today announced the collectible card game, WWE® SuperCard, was downloaded more than 5 million times since it was released in August 2014.

WWE SuperCard users have generated the following statistics across iOS and Android devices:

  • Played more than 7.1 million King of the Ring season-based sessions.
  • Nearly 5 million Rare Pro cards have been created.
  • More than 880 million Exhibition Games finished in total.
  • Spent approximately 17 minutes in an average gameplay on Android devices.

WWE SuperCard challenges players to build teams of WWE Superstars, Divas and Legends, train them to their full potential, battle in various match types and test their luck in high stakes tournament action. Featuring more than 550 cards in active play, with each card representing one of seven different rarity levels, WWE SuperCard delivers an extensive array of collectible content with high replay value. In addition, WWE SuperCard enables players to enhance their experience through the purchase of individual card packs.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
