Mick Foley Ejected For Cheating In Contest
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley was ejected from the WIP Wing Bowl in Philadelphia today, after he was caught “cheating” during the contest.
According to reports, including TMZ and local news outlet Lehigh Valley Live, Foley was caught stuffing chicken wings into his fanny pack to gain an edge on the competition. Foley initially denied cheating, but officials went to replay video and showed Foley caught in the act.
Apparently, locals are referring to Foley’s wing joke as “inflate gate” and “wing-gate”, a play on the NFL “deflate gate”. Foley responded on Twitter and said: “Guilty as charged. Legacy shattered. Life in shambles”
