When the subject of former WWE Superstar CM Punk signing with UFC came up, McGregor said the following:

“At the end of the day he’s doing it.  He’s signed up and he’s gonna step in.  So anyone who steps through the doors at whatever level, I have respect for, whether it’s in the UFC or a smaller organization. Who knows what his level is like.  I’m sure he would not enter something unless he had some sort of skills, some sort of confidence. Of course when you’re going in at the biggest level it’s different.Again he’s gonna bring eyes, it brings business, if you bring business you can have a shot. So we’ll see.”
