Moments ago, Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks threw a last-minute interception to end Super Bowl XLIX, crowning the New England Patriots the 2015 champions.
WWE and NXT Superstars, Divas and backstage employees all weighed in on the big game, including die-hard Seahawks fan and Washington native Daniel Bryan.
Heartbroken. Still proud of a great season @Seahawks

KILLAM: Congratulations to Tom Brady and the Patriots for their fourth Super Bowl trophy in the 21st century. There will be a lot of disgruntled fans saying things like “the Seahawks lost more than the Patriots won”, but it takes more than one terrible call and one poor throw to get to the end of a four-quarter game. You have to respect Brady for that late-game drive, much as you have to respect Russell Wilson for shaking off a zero-completion first quarter and taking control of the game. Everyone played well, the referees were generally fair – with only a few bad calls, which you have to expect – and for a guy with no dog in the fight, I enjoyed the back-and-forth battle.
