nxt women's championWWE NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte recently did interviews with MTV UK and Talksport.com’s Gorilla Position podcast, during which she talks about what the women of NXT have to offer the business, one day main eventing a PPV and more. Below are some highlights:

Talking to James Delow on talkSPORT’s WWE podcast, Gorilla Position:

“We’ve only given a taste [so far], that’s only a little bit of what the girls can do down here,” she reflected.

“I don’t know how long it will take, but we won’t stop until we prove to the world NXT means business,” Charlotte promised.

“I guess that sounds clichéd but that’s what I want to do. I want to be taken as… I know we’re not men, but I want to be a main eventer.

“I know one day I will main event a pay-per-view. It might not be Wrestlemania, but it will be a pay-per-view.”

The following is a highlight from the MTV UK interview:

Women’s champ Charlotte, who began training with NXT around the same time, told MTV connecting with WWE’s fans helped her realise what has driven her father – often regarded as the greatest wrestler of all time – throughout his high profile 40-year career.

“My dad lives, breathed professional wrestling,” an emotional Charlotte explained, smiling.
