More Details on CM Punk’s WWE Medical Allegations, Footage of the Scar From His Staph Infection

As noted, WWE sent in a statement disputing claims made by CM Punk regarding the medical staff and Dr. Chris Amann. Furthermore, Amann has filed a $1 million lawsuit against Punk stemming from claims Punk made on the Art of Wrestling podcast.

Punk claimed he worked the Royal Rumble PPV with a baseball sized lump on his back, and in rebuttal WWE sent in video footage of the area on Punk’s body in question, hoping to disprove Punk’s claims.

It’s worth noting that Punk appeared on Opus radio last December and showed the scar from his staph infection, and the growth he was referring to would have been located below the waistband of his tights.
