Triple H confirmed on Twitter moments ago that the new contract Brock Lesnar has signed with WWE is a multi-year deal, calling the World Heavyweight Champion a “global attraction”.
While nothing has been announced publicly at this time, Lesnar signed a three-year deal in 2012 that saw him make his in-ring return against John Cena at Extreme Rules in Chicago, IL.
In his interview with SportsCenter, Brock specifically mentioned his dislike of “the highway” and stressed he remains “part-time with full-time pay”. It’s very likely his role with WWE remains the same as it has been the last three years – working limited dates over another three-year period, with an option to add more dates at a later time, for his usual rate.
.@BrockLesnar is a global attraction. Happy to have him re-sign a multi-year contract with @WWE. @espn @MichelleDBeadle
