Big Match on WWE NXT
Hideo Itami will resume his rivalry with “Prince Pretty” Tyler Breeze, as the two will collide in a two-out-of-three falls match on next week’s episode of WWE NXT. The two remain tied at one win a piece, and will look to end their program – one that began at Takeover: Rival back in February – with a solid two-fall victory.
Beadle Talks Heyman, Brock Lesnar
ESPN anchor Michelle Beadle was a guest on The Danny Picard Show today, talking about her crazy Tuesday full of WWE and WrestleMania interviews and the shocking Brock Lesnar announcement.
“It was one of those days where I forgot I was 39 and I thought I was 9. I love Paul Heyman – I think he’s the most talented speaker in quite some time. I tell you how weird yesterday was though. I come into work knowing we were doing this thing with Roman Reigns, and they surprised me with this Paul Heyman stuff…”
“And then we taped something with Dana White” … “Then that surprise Brock Lesnar stuff happened. Nobody knew about it. Nobody knew what the announcement was; he wasn’t giving anyone any clues.”
Michelle found out at the same time as the rest of the world that Brock Lesnar had re-signed a brand new deal with WWE, and had closed the door on his future with UFC.
“He called us. He wouldn’t give us any clues, just showed up with one guy. My producers went into the room to try to get a clue, he wouldn’t give us one. I went in there to try and mess with him and get a clue, he wouldn’t give me anything. He was enjoying it.”
“I thought he was going to retire, to be honest with you. I thought he was going to retire from everything.”
