Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock Still Being Considered For WrestleMania 32? Major News & Speculation on Undertaker, WWE Legends

While rumors of Brock Lesnar facing off against The Rock at WrestleMania 32 have seemed like quite a stretch in the past, with the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion signing a brand new three-year deal the “super fight” now seems like a very real possibility.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE will likely reach out to any legends who are still capable of performing in the ring to play some role in next year’s show. The Rock was originally penciled in to face Lesnar in last year’s main event, but plans ended up falling through due to Johnson’s hectic schedule and the injury he sustained from his second match with John Cena.

Because The Undertaker is from Houston and has always been loved by WWE’s massive Texas crowds, one idea that’s been going around for some time has been to hold his retirement match at WrestleMania 32. That may include inducting him into the WWE Hall of Fame the night before, and he’d obviously go in as the headlining act if that were the case. Of course, the Deadman himself has been unsure if his body could hold up into 2016, and a lot will ride on what happens this Sunday during his match with Bray Wyatt.
