More Details on WWE & NBC Universal’s New Marketing Strategy

wweNBC Universal and WWE are working on a massive shift in the way the USA Network parent company advertises the product across their 19 television stations.

That was the idea behind the recently announced “For The Hero In All of Us” campaign, which will allow NBC U to put over WWE Superstars as legitimate celebrities during mainstream broadcasts, as the charity aspect helps break down the walls that would normally make non-wrestling fans uncomfortable.

As we noted earlier this week, one of the first ways WWE will apply this new marketing deal is by heavily pushing the upcoming Terminator Genisys film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Triple H will use scenes from the movie during his WrestleMania 31 entrance this weekend for his match against Sting, who is also expected to receive an elaborate entrance.

WWE is also looking to expand their already strong relationship with film studios; as reported both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon met with Paramount Pictures and Disney Pictures this week as a part of their WrestleMania media blitz in California. Apparently they are also looking to expand into consumer electronics, mobile devices and the auto industry.
