3/30 WWE RAW Viewership Skyrockets Following WrestleMania 31

kevin nashThe night after WrestleMania always means big numbers for WWE Raw, but this year’s fallout in San Jose was up — wait for it…

TWENTY-EIGHT PERCENT!

The average number for this week’s show was an incredible 5,364,000 viewers tuning in. Raw kicked off with 5,227,000 people for the first hour, which was already up over one million more than last week’s average.

And if you needed more proof of Brock Lesnar’s drawing potential, the second hour shot up to 5,597,000 viewers tuning in to watch the former champion demolish the announce team and drop Michael Cole with an F5. The third and final hour fell with a lackluster 6-man tag team match in the main event, but still retained an estimated 5,267,000 viewers.

This was by far the most watched episode of WWE Raw since July 23, 2012 — the 1,000th episode featuring John Cena vs. CM Punk, the return of Degeneration X, The Rock, the wedding of AJ Lee and Daniel Bryan and more.
