Ronda Rousey To WWE Update; Does She Have A Deal In Place, Which PPV Could She Work Before Wrestlemania 32?

ronda rousey to wweFollowing her appearance at Wrestlemania 31 on Sunday, it has been speculated that UFC fighter Ronda Rousey was with The Rock to set up a possible angle for a future match.

Rousey’s appearance, highlighted by her taking down Triple H and putting Stephanie McMahon in an armbar, gained a lot of praise, but it may have been a one time deal.

Sherdog.com is reporting Brad Slater, Rousey’s agent, told the UFC Tonight show that she does not have any deal with WWE and it was a “one-off.” The explanation being given is that between defending her UFC title and working in Hollywood, including the new Furious 7 film co-starring The Rock, Rousey wouldn’t have time to work with WWE.

While a deal is not in place, plans could always change, and Rousey may free up some time later in the year or in time for Wrestlemania 32. F4Wonline.com noted if Rousey were to return to WWE for another angle with Stephanie McMahon, it would likely happen at the WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view, which takes place on October 25th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
