Update on Ring of Honor “Global Wars” iPPV & Complete Match Card

Earlier today Ring of Honor announced that their annual “Global Wars” event, co-produced by New Japan Pro Wrestling, will be offered live through IPPV. 

Both “Global Wars” and “War of the Worlds” are two-day events for a total of four shows between May 12-16. It will be “Global Wars” night one that airs on IPPV, which will take place from the Ted Reeve Arena in Toronto, ON on Friday, May 15. 

Here is the complete card: 

-Shinsuke Nakamura vs. ACH

-Moose & Gedo vs. Silas Young & Watanabe

-Chris Sabin vs. Kushida

-Mike Bennett & Matt Taven vs. Jushin Liger & Matt Sydal

-RPG Vice vs. The Addiction vs. The Decade vs. reDRagon

-Cedric Alexander vs. Kazuchika Okada

-Michael Elgin vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi

ROH TV Championship Match

-Jay Lethal (c) vs. Tetsuya Naito

Main Event

-Ring of Honor vs. The Bullet Club

Ring of Honor: The Briscoes, War Machine, Roderick Strong

The Bullet Club: AJ Styles, The Young Bucks, Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson

The Sabin vs. Kushida match is really interesting, given that Sabin’s long-time partner Alex Shelly went on to become the very successful partner of Kushida in New Japan. I’m very disappointed there’s no TV Champ vs. IC Champ match on any of the shows, but Nakamura and ACH should bring the house down.
