Update on Alex Riley Returning From Surgery, Will Heath Slater Face John Cena?

Alex Riley Surgery Update

alex rileyWWE’s website has confirmed that Alex Riley will be having surgery next Thursday.

There was no timetable for his return and mentioned that Riley is having a procedure done that will fix the degenerative arthrosis that he’s been having issues with in his right knee. It also looks like WWE wants to keep his feud with Kevin Owens in tact, mentioning Owens attacking him and possibly being the reason for his injury.

Alex Riley noted on Twitter that he’s expecting to be back in the gym just 72 hours after knee surgery.

The “One Man Rock Band” has taken to Twitter regarding never getting his United States Championship match against John Cena after being attacked by Rusev. Slater tweeted the following:
