New Feature Debuting Tonight: Wrestlezone Network Club; Details & Live Coverage Information

Tonight at 8:00 p.m. ET we will be rolling out another brand new weekly segment – the Wrestlezone Network Club.

After taking a Twitter poll, we will be working our way through the complete history of WCW pay-per-view (available on the WWE Network for just $9.99), starting with the first ever NWA pay-per-view, Starrcade 1983.

NWA Starrcade ’83

In this first ever pro wrestling pay-per-view, never before released on home video, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper and Greg Valentine battle in a Dog Collar match, Ricky Steamboat and Jay Youngblood challenge NWA World Champions Jack and Jerry Briscoe, and in the main event a steel cage will be lowered for the epic collision between Ric Flair and NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race.

Each week we will progress through the next show on the list, watching it together through the WWE Network. I will provide light “live” coverage and a final review, while commenting on the event as it’s happening in the comments section with all your bright, shining faces. Prior to our coverage kicking off, I will give a brief summary on the happenings of the promotion between one show and the next, to help connect the dots between pay-per-views.

I know we’ve added a lot of new, exclusive content to the website in recent weeks – a new Raw Recap show, the Wrestlezone Mailbag – but what can I say, we’re just that damn good. See you tonight!
