Ronda Rousey Confident She Will Return to WWE; “It’s Going to Happen”

wrestlemania 31UFC Champion Ronda Rousey made an appearance on the Fight Network, and when asked about a possible return to WWE, noted that her schedule is full at this point.

“I don’t know. I’ve got so much going on, you never really know. The foreseeable future has been planned out with other things.

The undefeated bantamweight champ has her eyes focused on August 1st, where she will face the 9-0 striker Bethe Correia in the challengers home country of Brazil. She is also heavily engaged in promotion for her new book, My Fight / Your Fight.

Despite the hectic schedule, Rousey boldly states that she will be back in WWE some day. It may not be in Dallas, TX at next year’s WrestleMania pay-per-view, where WWE officials would love to see her opposite the “billion dollar princess” Stephanie McMahon, but the leader of the Four Horsewomen is confident she will return.

“One of the legends of wrestling that I met with in the back told me something very interesting. He said that you never really retire from wrestling, you just step away for awhile and it draws you back at some point later. So now that I’ve started, it’s apparently impossible to retire. Someday I’ll find my way back there. I don’t know how or when, but I know it’s going to happen.”
