Details on Samoa Joe’s WWE NXT Deal

According to PWInsider.com, Samoa Joe has likely signed a WWE NXT deal similar to that of Brian Kendrick and Rhyno, as Joe has still been accepting indy bookings including a date with Northeast Wrestling in August. Unlike Kendrick and Rhyno, however, Joe will have WWE merchandise available.

HHH & Stephanie Working Hard to Change How Women Are Featured in WWE

According to The Wrestling Observer, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are said to be big proponents of changing the way women are featured on WWE TV. This stems from Stephanie’s female influence in the company as well as the way Ronda Rousey has become such a big success in UFC.

While Triple H and Stephanie are not necessarily UFC fans, they’re big fans of Rousey and her landing the recent Sports Illustrated cover. They take this is a sign the times are changing, and want that change represented in the WWE Divas division.

It’s being said, however, that Vince McMahon still sees women in the roles they currently take on in the Divas division, and the NXT Divas are featured in a more prominent way as Vince has very little to do with the running of NXT.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
