WWE Superstar Darren Young has released the mini-documentary he has been working on for the past few months, and you can watch the entire thing below.
“A Day in the Life of DYoung” kicks off with a sit-down interview with Sam Roberts for his first ever podcast, discussing the effects that coming out as an openly homosexual man has had on him and his career. Young tells a story about CM Punk, who approached him in the locker room following a huge match with Brock Lesnar.
“He came up to me in catering and told me to stand up. I stood up, he gave me a hug, and he said ‘I’m proud of you. If you ever have any problems with anyone in the locker room, you let me know. I got your back.’ That meant the most to me.”
Young also returned to his old stomping grounds of IWF to talk with the current crop of pro wrestling students, walk them through different WWE techniques, etc.
