Destination America Puts Over WWE RAW Parody, Upsetting TNA Employees

Destination America recently put over a humorous piece of satire from Kayfabe News, following last week’s shocking announcement that Ring of Honor had signed a syndication deal to air on their network.

Obviously the article was meant to be a joke – as is everything that appears on the website – but apparently some people backstage in TNA were not happy about Destination America promoting it on their social media account, as it singles out and slams their company.

Raw will now go head-to-head on the network against Ring of Honor and, assuming it still exists next week, Total Non-Stop Action (TNA) Wrestling. Some experts are predicting a “ratings war” in which WWE will fight viciously to claim at least 98 percent of the “adult males aged 18-34″ demographic, leaving ROH and TNA to quibble over the scraps.

For what it’s worth, while the tweet is still up, the D.A. account had been promoting Impact Wrestling non-stop for their big “May Mayhem” show this past Friday night.
