6/1 WWE RAW Preview: Top Name Returning, Chamber Fallout, Road to MITB, Kevin Owens, John Cena & More; Dean Ambrose as World Champion?

wwe rawWWE RAW is live from the AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX tonight with all the aftermath of last night’s action-packed and newsworthy Elimination Chamber PPV. There’s no rest for the wicked however, as we are just two short weeks away from the next special event, the annual WWE Money in the Bank PPV.

After being absent from television following a loss in the main event of WWE Payback in mid-May, “The Viper” Randy Orton will make his return tonight. Orton will be one of the many men who steps into the ring at MITB for a chance to win the coveted briefcase, earning a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

Speaking of which, Triple H has issued a warning to the “Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose after he walked out of Elimination Chamber with the world title, despite Seth Rollins technically retaining the belt by disqualification. Al three will be in San Antonio tonight for what will surely be a chaotic and interesting situation. What role will the other SHIELD alumni, Roman Reigns, play in the title picture going forward?

NXT Champion Kevin Owens has been confirmed for RAW tonight, following his “shocking” victory over U.S. Champion John Cena last night. Cena is also being advertised for the show.

Nothing official has been announced in the way of matches at this point, but new Intercontinental Champion Ryback will be on hand, as will retaining champions The New Day and Divas Champion Nikki Bella. While he isn’t being advertised, it will be interesting to see if Daniel Bryan remains with the crew following last night’s show, and if he will be used on RAW to promote his upcoming DVD.

Wrestlezone will have complete and exclusive live coverage of WWE RAW at 8PM ET tonight, with our discussion page going up one hour prior to the start of the show.
