WWE Supershow Airing Live From Japan, Major NXT Title Match Announced, Stone Cold Stunner At Graduation (Video)

WWE Supershow Airing Live From Japan

wwe nxtNXT General Manager William Regal announced on tonight’s show that WWE will air a live show from Japan on July 4th.

He announced Kevin Owens would defend his title against new number one contender Finn Balor on the show, which is a Saturday and not NXT’s usual Wednesday slot.

This Japan live event is notable because it will also mark Brock Lesnar’s return to the country, where he is scheduled to face Kofi Kingston. WWE is advertising the show as a live network exclusive with Lesnar, John Cena, Chris Jericho and others scheduled to appear. Jericho, who is working a non-televised schedule this summer, was originally supposed to face Balor on the same show. It is unknown who Jericho will face now, or if Lesnar will still go against Kofi now that the show is a live special.
