‘Wednesday is Wrestling’ Preview: Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte, Sami Zayn Returns, 3 Title Matches on Impact, Samoa Joe Says Goodbye to ROH

Wednesday is Wrestling here at Wrestlezone, as we have brand new episodes of WWE NXT, Lucha Underground, Ring of Honor and TNA Impact Wrestling all head-to-head this evening.

WWE NXT Preview

nxt divasIt will be a packed edition of NXT tonight, as Sasha Banks defends the NXT Women’s Championship against her long-time rival Charlotte in the main event, just two days after the duo (and Becky Lynch) invaded Monday Night RAW. 

The injured Sami Zayn will also be making his return to Full Sail University, and will be addressing the fans about how much time he’ll be missing, Kevin Owens and the NXT Championship. Plus, Samoa Joe will be in action, Eva Marie discusses her title aspirations, and NXT tag champs Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy take on Sawyer Fulton and Angelo Dawkins. 

Impact Wrestling Preview

impact wrestlingDixie Carter is teasing that within the first five minutes of Impact going on the air, we will find out who the new TNA authority figure is. Plus, former world champion and Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle has requested time tonight to discuss his medical condition. 

It will also be a major night of championship matches, as Ethan Carter III defends the TNA World Heavyweight title, Tigre Uno defends the X-Division title, and the longest reigning TNA Knockouts champion in history defends the title. 

Lucha Underground Preview

Things are getting serious! For the first time ever, Lucha Underground Champion Prince Puma will face-off with his Ultima Lucha challenger, Mil Muertes. Super Fly and Sexy Star bring the heat in the ring, while Vampiro confronts Pentagon Jr., and Killshot battles it out in an intense match against King Cuerno. Tune in on Wednesday, July 15th at 8:00PM ET/PT on El Rey Network to see who comes out as winners!

Ring of Honor Preview

It will be a major party as Ring of Honor celebrates its 200th episode in a can’t-miss edition of ROH TV. The House of Truth – including ROH World & TV Champion Jay Lethal – will face off against The Briscoes, Roderick Strong and ODB in a huge 8-person tag team match. Plus, Samoa Joe wrestles his last match for the promotion teaming with IWGP Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles to take on Christopher Daniels and Kazarian, The Addiction.
