This is strictly a rumor at this point, but there is talk on Reddit of The Undertaker supposedly returning this Sunday at the WWE Battleground pay-per-view.
Bryan Alvarez mentioned on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Live that we could in fact see this happen; Alvarez stated the WWE Network numbers being released could be a factor. He also added that in addition to wanting a better number to report, WWE could also set up a Summerslam angle for Undertaker.
Apparently all of the discussion regarding Undertaker’s return stems from a recent photo of him working out, as well as a recent live report of fans hearing his trademark ‘gong’ in a Wrestlemania 32 ad. Undertaker very well could return earlier than Wrestlemania, but as it was stated, take this for what it’s worth right now as it is unconfirmed.
