Sami Zayn Talks NXT
As noted, former NXT Champion Sami Zayn was one of the Superstars present at last week’s San Diego Comic-Con.
The Wrestling Compadres Slamcast had a chance to speak with Zayn last weekend, and they talked about NXT’s growth, new doors in WWE being opened to different wrestlers, his injury return timetable, and more. Zayn noted he would be able to return at the end of this year “if he was lucky.”
Zayn also said NXT is a different product now from when he got there, saying being an independent wrestler used to hinder some guys, but now success of certain guys and fan response has changed things for the better.
