Jeff Jarrett On Talk Is Jericho

As noted, TNA and Global Force Wrestling founder and promoter Jeff Jarrett was joined by GFW star Nick Aldis (Magnus) on the latest episode of  Talk is Jericho with Chris Jericho.

Jarrett talked about realistic goals for GFW, and said they were not going to try and compete with WWE, saying that was ridiculous to try.

Jarrett outlined his plans for GFW, saying they would have a very heavy social media presence, and everyone would “get to tell their story.” He also added that although GFW will work on brand awareness, their contracts with contracts aren’t guaranteed deals and based more on per appearance agreements. Jarrett said it didn’t make sense to have a full roster with no guarantees in place, so relationships with companies like New Japan Pro Wrestling, TNA, and AAA Mexico are important.

Jarrett did confirm he is still a minority owner with TNA, but had already decided to move on awhile before he actually left. He said he has nothing negative to say about TNA, and looks forward to a working relationship with them.
