Nakamura Injured
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Shinsuke Nakamura suffered a left elbow injury during a match with Yuji Nagata at Saturday night’s show in Kagawa.
While it’s still unknown if he will be able to return to this year’s G1 Climax tournament – where he was the odds-on favorite to win the entire thing – but he is scheduled to face off against Ring of Honor star Michael Elgin tomorrow night.
Regal Thanks PWG
Wrestling legend and NXT general manager William Regal issued a “thank you” to Pro Wrestling Guerrilla after this weekend’s show in Reseda, California. As we noted previously, both Regal and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins were in attendance at the event, scouting talent. Some may recall, it was Regal who originally scouted Kevin Owens from PWG back in 2013.
