Two Title Matches Announced For ROH All-Star Extravaganza PPV; Jay Lethal Working Double Duty in San Antonio

Jay LethalWhen Ring of Honor television champion Jay Lethal defeated Jay Briscoe to become the ROH World Champion back in June, matchmaker Nigel McGuiness made it very clear that he would have to work twice as hard if he wanted to hold on to the promotion’s top two titles simultaneously. After more than a month of successful championship matches – including a 60-minute time limit draw with Roderick Strong at “Death Before Dishonor” – Lethal will face his greatest challenge yet at the upcoming “All-Star Extravaganza” PPV on September 18th.

On 9/18, Bobby Fish will challenge for the ROH television title, an opportunity he earned by winning a #1 contender’s tournament at the recent ROH AFTERSHOCK event in Las Vegas. However, later that same night, Fish’s long-time tag team partner Kyle O’Reilly will finally get his opportunity to challenge for Lethal’s ROH world title. O’Reilly earned his match by tapping out the champion on two separate occasions, and as a follow-up to their time limit draw in 2014.

“All-Star Extravaganza” is live on PPV and IPPV September 18th. Other stars signed to appear include AJ Styles, The Briscoes, Matt Sydal, The Young Bucks, Roderick Strong, Adam Cole, The Kingdom, Maria Kanellis, Moose, Michael Elgin and more.
