Randy Orton Reaches WWE TV Milestone

Randy Orton Reaches WWE TV Milestone, News on Hulkamania T-Shirts at Raw Last Night, Why Was Raw Billed From Seattle?, More Raw NotesThanks to John Finnegan for sending in the following:

I thought you and your readers might find this kind of interesting: according to NorthAmericanWrestlingRankings.blogspot.com, which started keeping track of wrestlers’ records and ranking them as of Nov. 2006, when Randy Orton defeated Cesaro and Kevin Owens in a Triple Threat Match on the 8/10/15 episode of Raw it was his 200th televised singles victory!

The Viper is just the second wrestler to win 200 singles tv matches [after Sheamus]. When he defeated Seth Rollins by DQ later in the same night it was his 201st victory, tying him with Sheamus for the all time lead.

John Cena is nearing the 200 wins milestone with 190 singles tv wins as of 8/10/15.

[NOTE: these records count t.v. and ppv singles matches since Nov. 2006 ONLY].

Raw News From Last Night

Last night RAW was a legitimate sell last night.

Most over person of the night was Daniel Bryan.

Actually surprised to see that they let a few people in that were wearing Hulkamania shirts.

I do have a question after watching RAW. The announcers on TV were referencing that they were in Seattle and not Everett. Why is that?

Whenever Raw is in a smaller city, WWE typically bills the show from the “big city” closest to the Raw arena. For WWE, Raw sounds more important if it’s coming from “Seattle” as opposed to “Everett.”

I know the Key Arena is bigger than Xfinity Arena, but the Key Arena never sells out anymore ever since the WWE now goes to Portland. Or even for that matter the Tacoma Dome never sells out anymore. I wouldn’t be surprised if the WWE returns to Everett more.
