WWE NXT Results (8/12) – Finn Bálor In Action, Number One Contenders Match Between Bayley vs Becky Lynch!

WWE NXT Results

August 12th 2015

Report By Lovell Porter for Wrestlezone.com

Backstage William Regal explains that at first glance he did not want to grant Kevin Owens’ request for a ladder match at NXT Takeover Brooklyn. After speaking with Finn Bálor, Regal has decided to grant Owens’ ladder match request.

Solomon Crowe vs Tye Dillinger

Crowe and Dillinger lock up and trade headlocks and drop downs. Dillinger stops mid match to tell Crowe that he is the perfect ten. Dillinger has fully embraced his new persona, which can only benefit him moving forward. He manages to get the crowd to join him in a perfect 10 chant. Dillinger sends Crowe to the mat and then pulls down his kneepad. Before we can see what Dillinger has planned, Crowe hits him with a straight right, a modified diamond cutter and a running knee lift in the corner. Crowe grabs Dillinger by the leg, but before he can capitalize, Dillinger hits his version of the Code Breaker to get the win.

Winner- Tye Dillinger

Baron Corbin vs Axel Dixon

After a collar and elbow tie-up Corbin send Dixon into the corner. Corbin clotheslines Dixon in the corner, then hits the End of Days for the win.

Winner- Baron Corbin

After the match Corbin cuts a promo about how ever week it’s the same thing. No one gets up from the End of Days. Steve Cutler runs down the ramp to help, but he gets hit with the End of Days as well. Corbin picks up the mic again, but Samoa Joe interrupts him. Joe tells Corbin he is impressed but he definitely wont be able to do that to him. Corbin says he just fought two guys. They can do this, but not tonight.

Before Joe can respond, Corbin lays Joe out with a right hand. Corbin sends Joe into the ropes for End of Days, but Joe reverses it into the Coquina Clutch. Joe chokes out Corbin with ease.

Well, it seems that for about the hundredth week in a row, we still are not sure if Corbin can wrestle. This match didn’t even last 30 seconds. Hopefully this budding feud with Joe will finally answer that question.
