Flashback Video: Ronda Rousey Interviews Roman Reigns; Reigns Talks Winning the WWE Title, the Superman Punch, Heyman’s Influence & More

Back in March, UFC Champion Ronda Rousey interviewed WWE star Roman Reigns, and you can watch the entire interview in the video below. The following are some highlights:

Is it more important to win the WWE title or steal the show?:

“I think it’s important to do both. I think if I can steal the show then I’m definitely gonna win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. So if we can somehow combine the both that would be awesome.”

Would you ever be willing to do a hair vs hair match for me?:

“Oh absolutely. My whole life I’ve grown my hair out then cut it off, then grown it out and cut it off. The only stipulation I have is that we do something good with the hair, especially if it’s mine.”

On the Superman Punch:

“It was just something that seemed so cool. You see it in MMA and your territory quite a bit, but it seems like it’s always something you try to sneak a guy with in the very beginning, or that random head kick you’ll throw out of nowhere…so I thought it would be so cool if I could hit it and knock the guy out right on the spot.”

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
