brock lesnarBrock Lesnar was on the Mike & Mike Show this morning on ESPN, and the following recap of his appearance comes courtesy of The Pencil Podcast:

Brock said that WWE is not his life. It is his hobby. He is just a farm boy from South Dakota. He doesn’t really hang out. He said that after this interview he is heading home to combine his wheat as he is still a farmer.

When asked what is bigger UFC 100 or WrestleMania he said WrestleMania. He said 80,000+ people is amazing. Brock said with WWE he can soak in the crowd, with UFC he is focused in on his opponent.

Brock commented on his homecoming last night in Minneapolis. He said it was fantastic. He loves working shows and loves his part-time schedule. He said that he had some rough spots with WWE in the past but his relationship with Vince is the best it has ever been.

When asked about the NFL Brock said it was so grueling and difficult. He said that it was frustrating because he was doing something at a high level but was not the best at it. Brock said the 8-week training camp wasn’t fun but still loves the NFL and the Minnesota Vikings.

Brock stated he was grateful for WWE because WWE really gave him his first shot at fame. He said the NCAA Championship was great but WWE gave him that medium to get out there. He said when he left WWE the first time he went out and built his brand into what it is now which brings credibility to the WWE product.
