The Bucks jump start the match, attacking the Addiction during introuctions. Nick takes Daniels out with a dive to the floor, Kazarian holds Nick for a superkick from Chris Sabin, but Nick moves out of the way and Sabin takes Kazarian out instead. The referee ejects Sabin, with the crowd politely asking Sabin to leave as the Bucks knock him out with a double superkick. Bucks with a flurry of double team moves once everyone heads back into the ring, but Kazarian shoves Nick off the top rope and Daniels chucks Matt out as well, then takes them both out with an Arabian moonsault. Daniels rolls Matt back inside and Kazarian connects with a slingshot DDT for 2. Now the Addiction is firmly in control, and they expertly shut down his many attempts to get to the corner and tag Nick. Mat finally manages to get away and Nick cleans house on both Daniels and Kazarian, shouting “you’re dead!” as he enziguiris Daniels to the floor and tkaes him out with a slingshot DDT to the outside. Nick slingshots back in with a facebuster for 2, and Matt has recovered from his ten minute beating to join Nick in double teams on Kazarian. They hit the assisted rolling senton off the top on Kazarian, Daniels breaks the cover at 2, and the Addiction hits the parachute bomb for 2. Matt superkicks Kazarian, but Daniels hits a uranage and goes for the BME. Matt gets his boot up, Nick takes Daniels out, Kazarian hits Nick with a slingshot diamond cutter, and Matt superkicks Kazarian and all four men are down. They get to their feet, Daniels hits Matt with a curb stomp off the ropes, takes Nick out with a dive, then Kazarian hits the Wave of the Future on Nick and gets an armbar. The Kingdom runs down to ringside and attacks Daniels as the Bucks hit a powerbomb/enziguiri combo. They hit the double team spike piledriver on Kazarian, but he kicks out at 2.99999999. Suddenly a belt finds its way into the ring and everyone goes back and forth trying to hit each other with it until Maria gets ahold of it. Matt goes to superkick him, but Kazarian rolls Matt up and gets the three count.

Winners: The Addiction

Nigel McGuinness comes out and says that this company was built on professional wrestling and thinks the Young Bucks deserve another title shot, so at All Star Extravaganza in San Antonio, the Addiction will defend against both the Young Bucks and the Kingdom in a triple threat match.

ROH World Title Match: Jay Lethal vs Roderick Strong

The crowd is super hot for this one and are divided up pretty much 50/50. They hit it quick right off the bell, with Strong dominating the action and going for the Stronghold early. Lethal kicks him off to the floor and hits a dive, but Strong disrupts a second one and they wind up trading chops on the floor. Strong gets the better of that exchange and brings Lethal back inside for a cover, but Lethal is out even before a 1 count. Strong hits a gourdbuster, ducks a charge and sends Lethal to the floor, and goes for a baseball slide, but Donovan Dijack and J Diesel catch Strong coming through the ropes and give Lethal a chance to get a shot in and turn the tide. They go back in the ring and trade right hands, then Strong lays Lethal out with a chop. Lethal is right back up and elevates Strong in a fireman’s carry, dumping him face first on the top turnbuckle. Lethal mounts Strong in the corner for the ten punch count, throws in a Dusty Rhodes elbow for good measure, and whips Strong hard into the opposing corner. Lethal keeps up the pressure and wears Strong down with a front facelock, he tries for a Lethal Combination, Strong blocks it and Lethal goes for a Lethal Injection, but Strong catches him and counters to a backbreaker. The tide has turned, and Strong is opening up with chops, tearing the champion up with a couple dozen of them. Strong yanks Lethal out of the corner and goes for a backbreaker, Lethal escapes, but Strong with a series of running forearms and a full rotation back suplex for 2. Truth Martini is livid at ringside as Strong drills Lethal with a kneelift and goes for the Gibson Driver. Lethal backdrops out, avoids a leaping knee, conencts with a superkick and hits the Lethal Combination for 2. Lethal puts Strong on the top rope for a superplex, Strong fights Lethal off and hits his own version of Hail To The King for 2. Both men are on their knees but still trading shots, then they get to their feet and trade chops, Strong gets the advantage and whips Lethal to the corner, drills him with a running kneelift to the jaw, then plants Lethal with a superplex and Lethal immediately counters to a small package. Lethal with a superkick and goes for the Lethal Injection, but Strong evades and drills Lethal with the Sick Kick. Strong covers for a real close 2, and the crowd thinks this is awesome as Strong and Lethal struggle back to their feet. Lethal tries to use the belt behind the referee’s back but Strong drills him with a high knee, takes out the entire rest of the House of Truth, but eats a pair of superkicks from Lethal. Lethal chokes Strong with his wrist tape to distract the referee, then uses the belt when the ref turns his back to dispose of it. Lethal hits the Lethal Injection for 2.99999, and the crowd is going nuts for Roddy as Lethal superkicks him in the face and then connects with another Lethal Injection for the win.

Winner: Jay Lethal

It was shorter due to time constraints, but every bit as good as their PPV match. I feel confident calling this the best ROH TV match of the year so far.

Okada and Jay Biscoe started out, going back and forth with hard punches.    Romero tagged in but was caught with an elbow.    Goto and Beretta tagged in with The Briscoes and Goto getting the better of the exchanges and maintaining control in the ring.

RPG Vice caught Mark Bricoe and double teamed him with a big double running knee.  Okada tagged in and nailed a senton splash for a two count.  RPG and Okada took turns stomping on Briscoe and then did the Rainmaker pose.  Goto finally tagged in and took out Team Okada.  Goto nailed a series of kicks and then hit Okada with a running spinkick in the corner for a two count.

Okada nailed a flapjack to cut off the momentum, following by a running back elbow in the corner.  He nailed another running uppercut for a two count.   He went for the Rainmaker but Goto caught him with a DVDR into an over the knee neckbreaker.

Jay Briscoe tagged in but was nailed with a RPG double knee. Team Okada began dishing out all sorts of punishment.  The Briscoes made a comeback and killed Romero with a series of big maneuvers for a two count.  Beretta nailed a superkick but was laid out by Goto.  Okada nailed an Emerald Frosion on Goto but Mark Briscoe hit the scene.  Okada went for a lariat but was caught with an exploder.

Ropero ducked Mark, sending himk to the floor. Everyone battled.    The Briscoes nailed the Doomsday Device off the apron to the floor on Beretta.  Mark hit a froggy elbow on Beretta.  Jay went for the Jay Driller but it was broked up.  Okada nailed a tombstone on Jay.  He drilled Goto with his trademark dropkick and went for the Rainmaker but Goto broke out and nailed a big shoulderblock.

Beretta and Jay battled back and forth in the center of the ring.  Jay cracked him with a big forearm and nailed the Jay Driller for the pin.

Your winners, The Briscoes & Hirooki Goto

Episode 4:

IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion KUSHIDA vs Matt Sydal

This is a non-title match. They go to the mat quickly and do a fast paced reversal sequence without either man able to get an advantage. Fast paced back and forth on their feet as KUSHIDA outmaneuvers Sydal, dropkicks his legs out, then baseball slides him in the face. Sydal responds with a leaping enziguiri and kicks back at KUSHIDA’s legs. KUSHIDA with a sunset flip for 2 but Sydal lays him right back out and continues working on KUSHIDA’s legs. Sydal with a heel hook, but KUSHIDA makes the ropes. KUSHIDA finally catches Sydal with a leaping enziguiri to the face, snaps his arm down on the top rope, and comes off the top himself…right into a leg lariat from Sydal. KUSHIDA with a rolling kick that sends Sydal out to the floor, then he springs to the top rope and dives off onto Sydal. KUSHIDA drills Sydal with a dropkick to the face as he comes in and connects with a moonsault for 2. Sydal sweeps KUSHIDA’s legs and does a standing moonsault, but KUSHIDA gets the knees up and gets a key lock. Sydal makes it to the ropes and KUSHIDA knocks him silly with a Pelle kick. KUSHIDA goes for a handspring something, but Sydal counters in midair to an inverted Frankensteiner. That only gets 2, so Sydal goes to the top for the Sydal Press, KUSHIDA stops him and goes up for a top rope DDT, Sydal knocks him off and does the Sydal Press, but KUSHIDA moves out of the way and gets Sydal back in the key lock. Sydal gets out and they trade kicks until Sydal literally lands on top of KUSHIDA for 2. Sydal SLOWLY goes back to the top and hits the Sydal Press on the third try and covers for the win.

Winner: Matt Sydal

Terrific match, but kind of surprised to see KUSHIDA lose. He holds the title belt up in KUSHIDA’s face instead of shaking and leaves. Sydal says he wants a shot at the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title anywhere on Earth that KUSHIDA wants it to happen. KUSHIDA comes back and shakes Sydal’s hand.

Four Corner Survival: Adam Page vs Will Ferrara vs Moose vs Takaaki Watanabe

Page and Watanabe start off and Watanabe gets the advantage, then Ferrara comes in and goes at it with Page, hitting a flying headscissors. Page snaps Ferrara over with a powerslam for 2, then Ferrara gets dumped to the apron and Page picks him up and fallaway slams him into the ring for 2. Ferrara tags Watanabe in and he cleans house on Page, then Moose tags himself in and dumps Watanabe to the floor, backdrops Ferrara on top of him, and is ready to hit the ropes when Colby Corino gets on the apron and gets in Moose’s face. Moose lays him out with a bicycle kick, then spears Page. Watanabe comes in and goes for a suplex on Moose, Moose escapes but Watanabe hits it on the second try. Ferrara rolls Watanabe up for 2, then Watanabe destroys Ferrara with some elbows and a SUPER hard STO for the win.

Winner: Takaaki Watanabe

Heck of a flurry from Watanabe at the end there.

Adam Cole vs Shinsuke Nakamura

They go right to the mat, but neither man is able to get an advantage. The crowd is torn right down the middle as Nakamura backs Cole to the ropes and taunts him with his “Adam Cole BABY” pose. They wind up brawling on the floor and I can’t quite see what they’re doing from my vantage point, but the fans sure seem to be liking it. Cole came out on top of whatever happened, and he chokes Nakamura with his boot as they head back inside. Cole whips Nakamura hard into the corner, then does it again, taking his time as he takes Nakamura apart. Nakamura catches Cole completely by surprise with some kicks, and just like that the tide has turned. Cole turns it right back by superkicking both of Nakamura’s legs out, then another in the face and he covers for 2. Cole goes for the figure four but Nakamura scurries to the ropes, so Cole instead stomps repeatedly at Nakamura’s knees. Cole dumps Nakamura to the floor, then gets him in the figure four when he comes back inside. Nakamura fights his way to the ropes, Cole goes for another figure four, and Nakamura counters to a submission. Cole counters to a rollup for 2, then they trade right hands and Nakamura lays Cole on the top rope so he can drill him with a running knee to the gut and a full rotation Regalplex. Cole drills Nakamura with a running knee out of nowhere, a superkick, and the Florida Key. That only gets 2 and Cole literally has to pull himself back from punching the referee in the face for that call. Cole with a bicycle kick, but charges into Nakamura’s knees. Nakamura comes off the second rope with a kneestrike, and they’re back to trading blows. Nakamura nearly puts him away, Cole blocks a kneestrike, hits the brainbuster on his knee, and goes for another. Nakamura blocks, hits waht looked like a Bizarro Driver, and finishes Cole with a running knee.

Winner: Adam Cole

Great match to close the taping with. Fun night overall, this is going to make for a few weeks of really good TV.
