SummerSlamLast week rumors began circulating that WWE had signed indie women’s wrestler Athena, who was trained by Booker T and Skandor Akbar. Athena has since re-posted a story on Facebook confirming she has indeed signed with WWE.

Potential Copyright Issues with New Day Song at SummerSlam

While this has not been confirmed, WWE might have encountered some copyright issues with New Day singing their version of “Empire State of Mind”, as renditions of New Day singing the song have been pulled from WWE’s YouTube page and from the SummerSlam replay itself on the WWE Network.

Wrestling Match at Football Practice

USA Today has picked up on the following video, which features Holy Cross football coaches Alex Bresner and Steve Cully having a wrestling match during practice. At one point a chokeslam is hit, and you can check out footage below:

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
